Mask Use Update
These Policy Updates take effect 10/26/20 at Noon.
Community spread of COVID-19 has been trending upwards in the State of NH, Strafford County and within the City of Dover. It has been established that airborne spread is the primary means of virus transmission. EverProven is committed to providing members and employees with a safe environment. EverProven will follow protocol as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (NH DHHS) relative to safety in the workplace, illness, quarantines and travel.
This update has been made in an effort to stay ahead of the curve, keep all gym members and staff safe (and in effect all other people that we all interact with) and lastly to ensure that we DO NOT have an outbreak in our community. Please abide by the following updated guidelines regarding mask use, social distancing and hygiene practices and what to do/what we will do if a positive case happens in our community:
1 – Mask use will now be mandatory by all persons in the gym at all times UNLESS actively engaged in workout activities as defined in this paragraph. For CrossFit classes this will be defined as actively participating in the strength or metcon portion of a class workout (mask use is strongly encouraged during these portions of a class but will not be mandatory while actively performing a class “Strength” or “Metcon”).
Other instances where mask use is strongly recommended but not mandatory are when actively performing exercises or workouts during open gym time, specialty programs, small group training, yoga, Barbell Club, HybridAF or personal training.
Mask use will be mandatory during class warm-ups or mobility sessions. Mask use will be mandatory when stopping a workout to use the restroom, when gathering equipment or not actively participating in workout activities.
Mask use will be mandatory when performing mobility, warming up, during skill sessions or during cool downs.
During open gym/hybridAF times mask use will not be required if an individual is the only person inside of the gym. However, in this instance, if someone else comes into the gym, both people must wear a mask when not actively working out as previously defined.
When a class workout is completed, mask use must commence once leaving your workout box, or, in the case of any of the other above mentioned programs mask use must commence after workout activity is completed.
2 – If someone forgets their mask, the gym will provide one for them. There may be a limited supply of gym provided masks so if a mask is forgotten and the gym does not have any left to provide, the participant will not be admitted to the gym until they are able to procure a mask.
3 – Upon entry into the gym, it will be mandatory to both scan your temperature at the provided touch free scanner and use the provided hand sanitizer. There are no exceptions to this rule.
If any member or staff has a fever 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit or over the member or staff will wait 5 minutes outside then reenter and rescan. If a fever 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit or over is still present on a second scan, the member or staff will not be admitted to the gym.
4 – All efforts by all persons to socially distance yourself from other people in the gym at a distance of 6 feet must be made (the only exception to the 6’ rule would be if individuals reside at the same address and live in close quarters with each other). We understand that it would be impossible to list every possible personal interaction situation, short of requiring a continuous mask requirement for all persons in the gym, but we ask that all participants and staff make a concerted effort to respect social distancing. Especially when;
Performing exercises of all/any form
Traveling in or around the gym
We ask that everyone use common sense to avoid unnecessary crowding. If contact tracing needs to occur, the wearing of masks is essential. 6’ distancing, hand washing/personal hygiene and appropriate equipment decontamination will be the other key thresholds for safety.
5 – If a member or staff is notified by their home state’s Department of Health and Human Services that they are being required to quarantine because of an identified possible exposure, the member or staff shall remain in a quarantine status and will not return to the gym until such time the NH Department of Health and Human Services lifts the quarantine order (14 days from the beginning of quarantine, not from exposure). Members or staff who reside outside NH will receive notification from their home States Department of Health and Human Services, but will abide by New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services guidelines of 14 day quarantine.
6 – If a member or staff travel outside of the six (6) New England states they shall not return to the gym under normal conditions or a period of fourteen (14) days after they return home. Members or staff may return to the gym with proof of a negative Covid-19 test performed after the date of their return or if they agree to wear a mask when at the gym at all times for a period of 14 days until after returning from travel.
The list of exempt or non-exempt states may be updated from time to time based on pandemic status in our region. If the Department of Health and Human Services guidelines update the list of exempt or non-exempt states, this policy will be updated and communicated to all members and staff. Members and staff will be held to the quarantine requirements that are in place at the time their travel occurs.
7 – Members and staff having visitors from outside the six (6) New England states, in close contact while visiting, shall follow the above rules defined in paragraph 6.
Members or staff may in this instance may return to the gym with proof of a negative Covid-19 test performed after the date of the arrival of their visitors or if they agree to wear a mask when at the gym at all times for a period of 14 days from after their visitors arrived.
8 – There are a wide range of symptoms associated with Covid-19. The most common are:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath of difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
Members and staff shall evaluate themselves for symptoms associated with Covid-19 each day before coming into the gym. If a member or staff is sick or is experiencing any of the above symptoms, we ask them to stay home and do not come to the gym.
9 – If any member or staff is diagnosed with Covid-19 and has been to the gym within 7 days of diagnosis or since symptoms started, we ask that they notify the gym management by phone or email and will identify what date and time they attended the gym last. Any member or staff that is diagnosed with Covid-19 will not come to the gym until 14 days after a negative Covid-19 test is passed and proof of a negative test within this window is provided to the gym.
If a member or staff reports a positive Covid-19 test to gym management and has been to the gym within 7 days of diagnosis or since symptoms started all individuals that may have been in close contact or potentially exposed will be notified (name of the individual who reported testing positive for Covid-19 will be omitted for their privacy). Furthermore, the NH Department of Health and Human Services will be notified of the situation as required by law. Lastly all members and staff will be notified (again omitting names for privacy) and the gym will be temporarily closed for extensive decontamination/sterilization. (see update on April 21, 2021)
10 – All current cleaning/decontamination practices will continue. We ask that if you touch an object or surface that you disinfect it after use with the provided materials. Please use only the provided disinfectant wipes and not any spray on metal surfaces (barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells rig, etc). We are noticing a trend of some of our equipment wearing prematurely due to the sprays being used and would like to try to preserve them while also being safe.
11 – When the outside temperature does not allow for the overhead doors to be open for ventilation, the HVAC system fans will be turned on during all classes or when there are more than 8 people inside the gym. This will allow for proper air exchange with the interior of the building and outside.
Thank you all for taking the time to read and understand the importance of this update. We are all in this together and thinking of the safety of all with these considerations. We certainly do not want the Covid-19 pandemic to force the gym to close again and we believe these steps place us in a better position to avoid that possibility while also keeping everyone safe!

Please review our Phase 2 Social Distancing Guidelines.
May 30, 2020
Matt posted this document Social Distancing Guidelines on Facebook. Here it is again for quick reference!
I also wanted to give a quick update on childcare. We are cleared to offer childcare at our usual times (4:00 PM weekdays and 9:15 AM Saturdays). The limit is 5 children inside and 8 children outside (if it’s a nice day). Children will have their temperature checked with a thermal scan before class just like members and staff are required to do. Children over the age of 2 will be asked to wear a face mask/covering. We will sanitize the children’s room daily and deep clean it once a week. We also ask that you reserve a spot in Wodify for your child so the childcare provider knows if they are needed or not. In order to reserve a spot for your child in Wodify, please respond to this email so I can activate that part of your membership for you. If you have any questions please let me know.
Reminder of Equipment Returns:
Saturday 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Sunday 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
May 28, 2020
Thank you again for your patience during this time of uncertainty and change. We are excited to be able to open our doors next Monday June 1st, but as you all know things will not be business as usual. Please read through this whole email for important information regarding equipment returns, class size, and reservations. Matt will be sending out a separate email regarding new safety measures outlined by the state, so stay tuned!
We will be accepting returns this weekend (see schedule below) at the gym. Please bring your equipment back during this time frame. If these days or times don’t work for you please send us a private message and we can arrange a separate drop-off.
Friday 5/29: 5:00 – 7:00 PM
Saturday 5/30: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Sunday 5/31: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
To avoid unnecessary charges, I am assuming that all equipment will be returned by June 1st. If you wish to keep your equipment please email me and I will add the charge to your account. Thank you!
T-shirts and tank tops are in! You may pick them up at equipment drop-off times this weekend.
Class Size and Reservations:
Class sizes will be limited to 15 members a class. We will need to use Wodify to manage this. This is a new procedure for us so bear with us while we make these changes. Everyone who wishes to attend class will need to download the Wodify Athlete app in order to make reservation. The app looks like the picture below:
You may make a reservation on Wodify up to 24 hours in advance.
Reservations will be open until the class starts.
There will be a waitlist for every class. If a spot opens up, waitlisters will receive an email alerting you that there is now an open spot for you to take.
You may cancel your reservation up to an hour before class. This will allow people on the waitlist to be alerted in time to make it to class.
It is critical that you sign into class when you arrive. You can do this through your phone. If you do not sign in you will be marked as a No-show.
Due to limited class sizes there will be a penalty for late cancellations and No-shows. First time will be a warning, second time will be a $10 fine.
Below are some screen shots of how to reserve a spot in class, how to sign in, and how to cancel a reservation.
If you have any questions please email me. Thank you!
March 21, 2020
All… We are at a point now where we are under immense pressure to close from local, state and national authority as well as social pressure from industry leaders.
We have had to internally take a lot of things into consideration. In the end we have to do what is right not just for our operations, but also for the world around us.
Effective tomorrow (Wednesday 3/18) at 730pm, we will be closed until further notice.
This was an incredibly difficult decision to make and we are in fear of if we will be able to recover or not from this if it goes on for and extended period of time. We will have to take things day by day.
We will however, be providing online classes through zoom and loaning out some of our equipment. Please do not ask to borrow anything yet until we have a concrete plan in place.
We will have a zoom meeting tonight with our staff to discuss what we will do moving forward to continue to provide the best service that we can to you for the time being.
Expect to see a plan from us sometime tomorrow with further details.
