How and when did you discover CrossFit?

I first started Crossfit back in 2016. I was in need of a change from the typical bodybuilding routine, and wanted a big change from participating and training for Spartan Races and other OCRs. I had always thought of CrossFit as a joke before I started doing it, saying things like “Oh it must be ‘throw your back out Thursday at crossfit’, but once I started participating in it, I fell in love instantly and havent been to a non-crossfit gym since then.

How has CrossFit affected you since you started?

Since starting, it has changed my life in so many positive ways. I’ve learned to trust myself more, not only in lifting, but in everyday situations as well. It’s obviously made me way healthier than I’ve ever been, but it’s also shown me how some things in life cant be controlled – injuries, health, etc – and you just need to roll with whatever it thrown at you.

What class do you normally attend?

Usually the 8:30 or noonerz

What are your short and long term goals?

Gym related: STG – become proficient at ring muscle ups again and work on endurance. LTG – Wodapoloza or CF Games at some point in my career. Life Related: STG – passing my boards.
